Summer learning journey / Week 1 Day 3

1) The name of the animal the WWF is working to save.
The animals the WWF is working to save is Tigers but there main goal is to save endangered Saimaa seal pups / Saimaa seals.

2) What the WWF is doing to help the animals.
Seals usually give birth to pups on snow mounts and if not the pups may have to be given birth on ice which isn't good because one predators are free to get them, they will get cold and because of human disturbance so the WWF is building snow banks for them.

3) What, if any, success they have had protecting the animal.

  2. Hi Fui,

Thanks for sharing your blog post about your World Wildlife Fun. You are working to a high standards Fui. By the looks of it this activity tells me that you know a lot about what the WWF is doing to help the animals. Do you still remember that teddy together that we had in room 2/3?

    Nice!

  3. Hi Fui!,
Good job on finishing this activity. I see you've chosen seals. I chose seals too. You've been working really hard lately. Would you protect seals if you had the chance?

    Great Work

  4. Kia Ora Fui,

You've covered the first bit well! WWF are indeed building snow banks, and I hope they succeed so that the pups don't get eaten. Do you think they will? If you can tell me how well they are doing in the last question, then you'll get full points!

Talk to you soon, keep it up!
