Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi Can we learnt how to show Self Control. Self control is when you control your emotions such as Anger/Temper and more. A easy example for Self control is: When you are excited and you keep talking when some one else is talking. After we got taught this we played two games called Bip Bop Bounce and Circle control. To play the game Circle control we had to lay on our stomach and put our right hand over the person who is next to us on their left hand. Then we had to all tap our hands around the circle.
To play Bip Bop Bounce we had to form a circle.Then the teacher went in the middle of the circle and
said Bip Bop Bounce to people she pointed at. In able to stay playing you have to say BANG! before the
person in the middle says Bip Bop.

For it Or Against

LI: Having a point of view and constructing an argument.

Today for writing my group and I split each other in to a pair of 2 or three.
 First the teacher gave us a topic. Then we had to see witch  pair was gonna be  For it Or Against.
 Me and my pair was Against. So when we sorted each other out we had to get into an argument on agreement and disagree.  We had to persuade each other why we agree or disagree. Then each group member in For it had to stand up and ex plane no less than 30 seconds. When all of the pairs of for it is done then the Against people stand up and do the same thing.  1 person per partner had to stand up and ex plane.
First time we done this activity it was very hard. Second time we done alright. Then in the fourth time every one felt happy and understood what to do. I had lots of fun doing this activity because it got easier each time we played.CLICK ON LINK

Possums

  LI: to separate fact from opinion. This week for reading I created a poster based on a story my group and I read. We all done some
research and found out that possums are "TROUBLE MAKERS". Our task was to influence people and convince them to think the same way as us. The whole point of this was to use our persuasive language against people who disagree with us or does not agree with us. In my poster I have a bad fact about possum.

Raz Kidz

This week I picked out a book on a app called Raz Kidz. The book I picked out was about Weird Bird Beaks. The top three I found interesting was the Rhinoceros Horn bill, Huia and last of all Sword billed-Humming bird. Fun fact: Rhinoceros Horn bill uses their horn to knock fruit of trees. I enjoy Raz Kidz because at the end it questions you about the story and if you get it correct you get levels up and your teachers might even mark your report for reading over average.

Table conga

Table conga is a game that helps with your multiplication. In Table conga they give you some options of what times table you want to do. I picked 7 x because I didn't know my 7 x of by heart so I wanted to challenge myself. While I was half way to victory I got caught by a virus. The game has Viruses that could end your
life. If you don't think fast to what number comes next then you will get caught by a virus or you might even be extremely lucky and not get caught. As you all can see by the screenshots I have got caught from the virus

This week for our can do's I done some Keyboarding drills. What you have to do for the keyboarding drills is to copy the letters they set out for you at the top. I practiced and I think I have done a great Job  because
everything I done was exactly the same as the letters above/on the top. I enjoyed this because it has helped me write without looking.

Hauora

                                          This week for inquiry we created a video that has all
                                          of the Hauora meanings. The characters in the video
                                          is Nyjah,Marieta,Chavda and me. What we had to
                                          do was ex plane the meaning of hauora and record it.
                                          We all had fun because we understood the meaning
                                           of all of the hauora. At the end we tried to make it
                                           funny by me eating junk and pretending to go somewhere else.

For the game free rice you have to answer questions and get them right. If you answer everything correctly then you get a bigger amount of rice to donate.

Table conga

This week for maths I played table conga. Table conga is game full of multiplication. I pick 2 X and I got everything correct. Example: 2,4,6,8,10

This week for Kiwi Sport we had to do some drills. First we had to see the deference when we Jump without using your hands and using your hands. We found out that using your hands is better than no hands because using your hands get you to Jump further.

This week for daily 6 I practiced Keyboarding drills.

Kiwican

This week for Kiwi can we played Sit down dodge ball and more. For the game sit down dodge ball everyone had to sit in a circle and 4 people would go in the middle to dodge the ball. The people who is siting down has to roll the ball and get someone out. The rules for the game is to not jump over the ball.

This week for kiwi can our topic was called resilience. We also played 2 games called Beep bob Bounce and Orange relay. For the game Beep Bob Bounce we had to say bang before the person in the middle of the circle say Bounce. At the end of Kiwican we all have a catchphrase and it goes like this ( 123 123  K G catch you up!) I enjoy going to kiwi can because we learn more things.

3D Net

This week for maths I used 3D shapes to create a net. I used a cube,pyramid,and a 3D circle. What I did was shift the cube to the back,top,forwards and Left to Right.  LI: to unfold a 3D net into a shape.

 LI: To separate fact and opinion. Today my friend and I separated fact and opinion from The mouse for sale. A fact is something that can be proven and an opinion is a idea that can or can't be proven.

      This week I played Free Rice. To play Free Rice you have too answer questions correctly. What I like about this game is that the more correct answers the more rice get donated to Charity.

Table conga

This weeks blog post was based on maths. Today's game I played was called Table conga.  To play Table conga you have to choose any type of timetable number. Then you have to collect the numbers in order. While you are collecting the numbers their is a twist. Viruses start chasing you and if it catches you then you have to restart.
