Once-ler letter

To Once-ler I am the Lorax. I speak for the truffula trees. Instead of chopping the truffula trees down you could pluck the tuft of them. You also Could reuse your gue to power up your Ax hacker. Another option That I can give you ,is to replant the trees to repay the damage you have done. You could stop creating thneeds and create something more valuable, something that doesn't have any parts of a tree that my animals need. Regards The Lorax.

Today I had to write a persuasive letter. We wrote it by making some changes and why he should stop destroying the inviorment.

 LI:to make connections and syntheses.
Today I learnt how to make connections and syntheses by comparing things and connecting things to The world,Self or Text.

Setting description

 LI:to write a setting description. Today I had to describe a setting. To do this I used 3 things that I had to answer. Hear,Feel and taste is what I used to describe my setting.  Then I described what I wrote in  Hear,Feel and taste.

Reduce,Recycle and Reuse

Today I learnt were recycling things go and compost things go.

I learnt by using a game called school yard recycle ling.

Charactor description

 LI:to investigate figurative language.
For Writing I had to get a character from my interesting people slide and write a Character description about them. First I needed to check it through if its good to go. Then I had the permission to blog it.

Questioning & Predicting

 

Today I learnt what predicting is. I learnt by remaking a predict poster we have into a poster that every one can under stand.  For the questioning Mele and Mojtba  recreated a drawing that helped us in learning what the 4 subjects are.                                                                                                                                        

Mesurment

 LI:to measure lengths  using non standard  measurement.
For today's learning I learnt how to measure things and make a ruler using 1 3D object.
  Today I had to create a ruler using a shape. Then I had to measure 5 objects in the class.

Waste sorting

 LI:to learn about Solid,recycle and organic

Today I learnt how much organic rubbish was made in the school. I also learnt what Organic solid and recyclable waste is. I learnt by collecting the organic rubbish in the hall and counting how much organic waste is in our school. We also saw how much total rubbish we create in a week.

What is waste?

 Today for inquiry I learnt The 3 questions in the box. I learnt by using a site called Waste management. We first had to create a drawing then Write down the questions. Then attribute some images.

 Today for Reading I Learnt how to put questions into a box from the text in the story.

 Today  for Reading I learnt how to answer Story Web question faster. I learnt by Reading the book then cutting the words down into my own sentence.

 LI:to identify parts of a narritive.
Today I learnt how to use Story web. First of all I had to read the story the goose who layed golden eggs. I answered The ,orientation, problem, events, resolution,  and ending. Then checked it through and blogged it.

Can do-Raz-kidz

For my cando on Raz kidz I had to pick a book to read. The book I chose is called A Greek myth.
I like this book because it is fun to read.

Responsibility,causation and change

LI:to identify  the responsibility,causation and change. For inquiry we had to read a book could Lorax.

This poster shows you What should be changed in the book and  what is our responsibility and the causation.  I learnt this by reading the book and answering what should be changed.

Story web

 This week for writing we had to fill in our story web using the story poor shot.

Measurement Vocab

LI: to find and make examples of words. For maths We had to create examples of 26 definition using any site to get our answers.
The site that I used was Cool math and more. On My presentation it shows you a definition then a photo of what the definition is explaining.

QAR-

LI: to inference information by using QAR strategy.I learnt how to inference information using my QAR strategy.  I learnt by using the pictures to predict and entering my questions into my QAR.
